First of all, what is a feral cat? A feral cat is a domestic cat that has never had human contact and appears wild. Ferals are created by un-altered cats that breed or that was abandoned. So make sure you get your cats fixed and NEVER abandon them!
Trap-Neuter-Return has so many benefits. It keeps the cats healthy and reduces fighting and marking, It keeps cats from yowling all night, and no more litters! It benefits you, the cats, and the whole community.

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is the only humane treatment to help the cat population. This is how it works, I go to your neighborhood and place down humane traps. After a days/night work of trapping, I take them to get spayed/neutered and vaccinated. After recovering from surgery I take them to the same location to get released. All cats under anesthesia are ear tipped; which means they have been fixed and are part of the community.
Some people believe that Trap and Kill is the only solution. It has proven it is not effective and is cruel. What happens is, when you remove the cat out of his/her environment, new cats move in. This is called the "Vacuum Effect." So what is the point to keep on trapping and killling them when new cats are going to move in? It is useless and is totally not humane! ~ Vote TNR!
